FAQs

What is a Slant Board?

A Slant Board serves as a versatile fitness tool designed to improve lower body strength and aid knee rehabilitation. Providing an inclined surface adds gravity driven resistance, fostering muscle growth and coordination.

What are the benefits of a Slant Board?

Raising the heels enables a more extensive range of motion during exercises that involve deep knee bending. This enables individuals to engage and activate muscles and ligaments deep within the knee and ankle joints, which traditional exercises may not facilitate. Building strength in these areas enhances explosive power and overall strength, while also mitigating pain, inflammation, and the risk of injury.

Useful but should come pre-assembled

This incline board should probably come pre-assembled in my opinion. Yes, it would take up at least twice as much space in a cardboard box but it would save a lot of effort having to put it together yourself. This is particularly so because the instructions do not match the amount of screws your receive, nor some of the partially pre-drilled holes. The instructions state that you receive 6 gold screws and 16 black screws, when in reality it is 4 and 20 respectively. The instructions show that you need to use six screws to attach the back wooden piece, but there are only in fact 4 pre-drilled holes (perhaps why you only receive 4 gold screws). The instructions maybe haven't been updated to reflect a slight change of design. However, your 20 black screws only have 16 holes to insert them into, so 4 are completely superfluous. The different coloured screws are almost identical, with the gold ones being ever so slightly longer.Maybe due to the person assembling this board and their lack of skill, but despite trying to carefully align all of the parts, there are some tiny gaps between the six different pieces of wood. The sheer number of screws holding everything together should ensure that this doesn't fall apart, but I'm not sure I'd be keen to test out the full 400kg claimed weight limit. Given that I weigh a lot less than 20% of that, I should be fine. The wood is reasonably thick and strong. The top non-slip surface does look reasonably non-slip, you are unlikely to get it wet anyway, and everything outwardly looks as expected having looked at the photographs in the product listing. I will use this for rehabilitating my left knee from patella tendonitis, for which decline exercises are recommended. You can obviously face in either direction to either have an incline or decline.

Fantastic slant board for fitness!

This slant board has become an essential part of my leg day routine. It's incredibly well-made, constructed from sturdy hardwood plywood that feels super durable. The non-slip surface provides excellent grip, even when I'm sweating it out during intense workouts.I've been using it primarily for knee-over-toe exercises, and I've already noticed a significant improvement in my knee health and lower body strength. It's also great for squats and split squats, adding an extra challenge to my workouts. The 25-degree incline is perfect for targeting the muscles in my calves and ankles. I also appreciate the wide surface, which allows me to stand with my feet shoulder-width apart for optimal stability. This slant board is surprisingly lightweight and portable, making it easy to take with me to the gym or use at home. It's also great for injury prevention and recovery, which is a huge plus for anyone who's active or recovering from an injury. If you're looking to take your leg workouts to the next level, I highly recommend the Premium Knees Over Toes Wooden Slant Board. It's a game-changer for building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall athletic performance. Thus it stands to reason this is something I'd highly recommend to anyone!

Comfy and sturdy.

Okay, I'll be honest, I use it as a footrest under my desk and not as exercise equipment. But I think this review might answer questions even for those who will use it that way. The wood is of good quality, assembly takes about twenty minutes, and I don't recommend using a manual screwdriver but an electric one. Otherwise, screwing in all the screws requires quite a bit of force. Assembly might be a bit tedious for some, but once it's put together, you can see that the object is really solid and sturdy. The rubber finish is excellent. Good product.
