Great quality bar

This is a really nice quality item - well built and easy to use. Also contains a bar collar which is a really nice touch and makes loading v easy. I actually injured my tibialis anterior before I got this so it has been great to use for rehab. Compact and easy to stow away too.Great item & highly recommended 👍🏾

Great for runners

I have been using it for about a month now, approximately two to three times a week. My main goal is running, maintaining an average of 45 km per week. This Tib bar is helping me avoid shin splints, and I genuinely believe it is effective. During the first few sessions, I experienced some pain in my right knee, which I attributed to keeping my legs straight on the bench. After modifying my form to slightly bend my legs, the pain disappeared. Now, I can perform the exercise with straight legs again without any discomfort, which was only an initial issue. Overall, I am pleased with the Tib bar. I keep it in my gym bag and use it every time I go to the gym.

A few build issues, but overall very good

Tib Bros have made a good product here, with a few minor flaws. The tib bar is a great idea - train your tibialis anterior to strengthen it up. It has always been a difficult muscle to train well, and this bar is a well thought up solution for the front of your lower leg.It is easy to use - just load up the bar with Olympic discs, slip your foot between the bars and curl away. It works well.My two main issues which hold it off from 5/5 are that a) the bar is clearly made for people with larger feet. being a UK size 6-7, the bar is just a bit too big for my feet to fit properly. Without trainers on, the bars are too far apart for me. With trainers it is almost right, but not quite. If you have size 7.5+ feet, you should be fine. The b) issue is the build quality. It is okay, but not the best - some of the welding is imperfect, the caps for the cylinder sections are rough and have loose plastic, and there are some chips on the bar. It is still very usable and no REAL issue, but more care could have been taken during assembly. The Nordic curl strap is good, and will make this exercise somewhat easier than jamming my feet under a dresser to do them!Overall, a great piece of kit worth the £55 asking price, but a 4/5 for the issues above - still, recommended.

Tib Bar & Nordic Curl Strap - The Tib Bros - Seems Well Made

It does seem like a good solid piece of exercise equipment that doesn’t take up too much space either. For working out your shin muscles it’s the item to have. You can download an ebook for full instructions so it’s says. Son hasn’t got round to doing that right now, but will be doing over next couple of weeks. All ready assembled and looking the part it’s one of those useful extra bits of gym equipment that when all used as part of a programme wonderful. The bits to it all seem well made and not likely to break nor fall apart.Think the exercises used with his weights and bench press will the one used more often with son and this item.Priced around what you’d expect when looking at other similar products.
